Abstract This paper aims to conduct a systematic study on the career development and planning system of counselors in private colleges universities new era. analyzes counselors’ cognition with help Schober’s theory, through choice explores influencing factors college careers based division stages, degree influence different ecological position model. When make planning, their are most important, which 4.5%, 9.06%, 22.46%, 32.48%, higher than school factors, social family role orientation, respectively. In terms influence, promotion policy management have greatest counselors, followed by professional background subjective will counselors. Counselors should strengthen autonomy, improve techniques methods turn passivity into initiative win opportunities, prepare growth manuals, awareness.
